Booking Process

    1. Fill Out the “New Customer Registration” Form (second link at the top).

    2. Wait for Brittney to respond to your request, availability will be discussed, then an email invitation for the Four Paws Pet Care App will arrive in your inbox.

    3. Register in the app, Brittney will approve your request to join the app. Then fill in all the relevant information for caring for your pet(s).

    4. You will then have access to: invoices, your care schedule and scheduling appointments, a messaging system, and pet visit updates.

    5. Before visits can be scheduled, a Meet & Greet must be scheduled and paid for ($20). Once the Meet & Greet is complete and we are a good fit for each other, dates can be booked and a 50% deposit will be required within 24 hours to secure dates. If the deposit is not paid, the dates will be opened back up for other clients.

    6. 3 days before the first visit, the remaining balance will be due. If the rest of the balance is not paid, the pet visits will be canceled and the 50% deposit will be lost.

    1. Please visit the Four Paws Pet Care App to update information, add pets, or communicate with Brittney.

    2. Schedule dates within the app or text Brittney at 919-830-2852 and I can schedule them for you.

    3. 50% deposit is required within 24 hours of bookings, if a deposit is not received, your dates will not be held.

    4. Remainder of the invoice must be paid 3 days before the first visit is to begin. If the invoice is not completely paid, the appointments will be canceled and you will lose the 50% deposit.

    5. Return to the Four Paws Pet Care App to view pet visit updates.

  • Cancellation Policy — Four Paws Pet Care

    Booking and Confirmation

    • A booking is confirmed once a client receives a written confirmation (email or text) from Four Paws Pet Care that includes dates, times, services, rates, and any special instructions.

    • A non-refundable 50% deposit or advance payment will be required to secure bookings (holiday periods, special events).

    Standard Cancellation Window

    • Clients may cancel services up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time without penalty and will receive a full credit on their account minus a non-refundable deposit.

    • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled start time will be charged 50% of the total service fee, unless otherwise noted.

    Same-Day Cancellations and No-Shows

    • Same-day cancellations (within 24 hours of start time) and no-shows are charged 100% of the scheduled service fee.

    • If the pet sitter is en route and the client cancels, the client will be charged the applicable pet visit charge with no credit added to the account.

    Changes to Booking

    • Requests to change dates or times are treated as a cancellation of the original booking and a new booking, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Changes made outside the 48-hour window may be accommodated without penalty, subject to sitter availability.

    Holiday and Peak Periods

    • Holiday and peak period bookings will require longer cancellation notice (e.g., 7–14 days) and higher non-refundable deposits. Terms for these periods will be provided at the time of booking.

    • Cancellations during holiday or peak periods that fall within the specified notice window will incur the stated penalty for that period.

    Emergency Cancellations

    • We understand emergencies happen. Clients should notify Four Paws Pet Care as soon as possible. Emergency cancellations will be handled on a case-by-case basis; supporting documentation may be requested.

    • Whenever feasible, Four Paws will attempt to reassign the sitter or reschedule services to minimize charges.

    Provider-Initiated Cancellations

    • On rare occasions a sitter may be unable to perform scheduled services. Four Paws will notify the client promptly and attempt to provide an available replacement. If no acceptable replacement is available, the client will receive a full credit to their account for the affected services.

    Modifications to Policy

    • Four Paws Pet Care reserves the right to modify this cancellation policy. Clients will be notified of significant changes before their next scheduled service when possible.

    Contact and Cancellation Procedure

    • To cancel or modify a booking, clients must contact Four Paws Pet Care by phone or the contact method provided in their booking confirmation. Cancellations are not considered confirmed until the client receives an acknowledgement from Four Paws.

  • $20 (once per visit/day) Holiday Fees will apply to the following holidays:

    • New Years Eve & New Years Day

    • Memorial Day

    • 4th of July

    • Labor Day

    • Thanksgiving

    • Christmas Eve & Christmas Day
